What if you could design an entire space by selecting any look or finish you need from one source?
When you shop, do you enjoy spending valuable time traveling all over town to individual stores, each with different ways to buy, different staff to help you, and no way to know if what you buy will work with your other purchases? If you do, then... well done.
For most of us, a better alternative is having everything in one place and working with a personal shopper to pick out exactly what you’re looking for. That’s Velaria Systems.
To show what this looks like in practice, we took one hotel lobby and designed it three ways. Same floor plate, same columns, same window wall, same reception desk location. Three very different rooms.
Biophilic design brings natural patterns, materials, and greenery indoors. The challenge is that live planting and natural materials can be difficult to maintain at scale, and they rarely do much for acoustics or lighting on their own. Here, a backlit printed stretch membrane ceiling creates a leafy canopy overhead, while acoustic wood slat panels add warmth and absorb sound.
Contemporary lobbies lean on bold color, metallic finishes, and graphic pattern. With polished stone underfoot and a full-height window wall, this version needed acoustic control that could hold its own visually. Gold perforated metal, Solid Acoustic panel- Marble, lightweight mirror panel, 3D Felt, and illuminated stretch membrane panels deliver that control, with every decorative surface also doing acoustic or lighting work.
Art Deco is about glamour: rich materials, strong geometry, and dramatic focal points. Ornate finishes like these can be heavy, costly, and acoustically unforgiving when every surface is hard and reflective. Architectural textile wall, acoustics wood slats, and copper perforated metal keep the drama while controlling the echo.
Across all three designs, the look changes completely. The process doesn’t. You work with one design support team, one project manager, and one installation partner network, with Velaria Systems as your single point of accountability from concept to completion. You spend less time coordinating suppliers and more time designing.
